Another aspect of Botox® treatment that many people don’t consider is the quality of the treatment being received. In an article featured in the L.A. Times several years back, plastic surgeon Dr. Brian Kinney maintained that “Few people are aware that the strength of the Botox® solution can vary widely among doctors.” Watering down Botox® is what makes it cheaper and more appealing to the check book, but you might not be getting fully authentic results. The cheaper the Botox®, the more concerned you should be about dilution of the product. Generally speaking, quality Botox® offered by licensed skin care professionals is going to cost more. There may be circumstances where you have quality providers, but the product is watered down, making it cheaper. As it has been said many times before in regards to pricing, “If it’s too good to be true, then it isn’t true!”
